Job Vacancies at Botesdale Breakfast & After School Club

Deputy Manager

Botesdale After School Club operates Monday to Friday
3.25pm until 6.00pm term time only.
 The Breakfast Club operates Monday to Friday
7.15am until 9.00am term time only.

The role requires the applicant to have a full clean driving licence, to be computer literate and to be able to work on their own initiative. You will also need to be a good listener, a good role model to the children and have the ability to join in activities and make it fun.

The successful applicant must have a minimum qualification of a Level 3 in Early Year Practitioner or equivalent.
  An enhanced DBS will be undertaken

Hours to be discussed but you will be required to work at both clubs each week with a start date for September 2022.

Children’s safety and welfare are paramount.

Play Worker / Driver

To start in September

Breakfast Club from 7.15am – 9.00am (days to be confirmed)
After School Club from 2.30 -6.00pm, term time only (days to be confirmed)
There will be a minimum of 12 hours per week which will be flexible depending on the number of children at the club including 2 early morning’s term time only. You will also be required to attend a staff meeting Monday mornings.

Ideally applicants will have a relevant Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) in Play work but this is not essential as training will be given and have some experience of working with 3 –11 year olds in a play environment. They will also need to be a good listener and role model to the children and have the ability to join in activities and make it fun.

The successful applicant will join us in providing high-quality, safe and stimulating before and after school care for the children attending St. Botolphs Primary school, Wortham Primary School, Palgrave Primary School and Gislingham Primary School. They will also be required to have a clean driving license and be willing to use their own car on occasions, mileage will be paid.

This post is subject to receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and reference checks.
